Building for stories

In 2017, Tanya Breshears officially launched a new platform designed specifically for storytellers: Curious Fictions. After graduating from Stanford University, she worked at a variety of tech firms as a software developer and then as a designer, including at places like Airbnb before creating her own platform.

Tomorrow, August 27th, she'll be shutting down Curious Fictions, and I spoke with her about how she built her company to help support writers, and about the difficult decision to power it down.
