I've written a bit about Andor since the series first debuted, and how it delivered something I've been wanting to see Star Wars do for a while: a serious look at the state of the galaxy and not only how a galaxy falls under the sway of totalitarianism, but what prompts people to take up arms against an unjust system. One of the things that kicked my head back was a character named Nemik, who pops up for a couple of episodes in the first half of the season. He's a revolutionary who talks about the conflict in political and philosophical terms, writing a manifesto that he hoped would guide the growing resistance movement. It's an astonishing couple of scenes, and someone went and took his words and put them up against a montage of scenes from throughout the films, highlighting each point that he makes.

(Be warned, if you haven't seen the series, there's bits and pieces from throughout the entire season.)

This series was chalk full of some really excellent dialogue, stuff that rings true even without the context of the trappings of the Star Wars universe: you could listen to this and have it apply to just about anything related to oppression, imperialism, and colonialism. All of it gets right to the heart of what the franchise is about: an epic fight against evil and oppression, and they're words that are worth taking to heart in our everyday lives. I get chills watching this.
